With Company have had the pleasure of working with a team of award-winning student filmmakers with several years of experience covering commercial, corporate and charity events, in addition to student musicians and creative writers. Below are our official collaborators, meet our wonderful team!

Adam Read - Film Director

Adam is a self-shooting director with a strong creative vision. A background in wedding videography inspires his observational, non-intrusive filming style. Adam is also Plymouth University's Dean's Award Winner, becoming a Deans Award Ambassador for his course and the University.

Conor Carroll - Editor

Conor is a professional at home behind the camera and inside the editing studio. From creative cuts and artful transitions, he brings the footage to life.

Sean Valentine – Camera Assistant

 

A camera operator with an expertise in the technical demands of camerawork. A year studying at Montana State University honed Sean’s talents on set.

Callum Wilson (Creative Callum)

Callum Wilson, a 21-year-old third year Dance Theatre. Originally training as a performer, Callum became interested in dance academia upon attending Plymouth University, To which he found himself introduced to the works of Judith Butler, Stevi Jackson & Elizabeth Grosz. Callum’s key interest in Gender, Sexuality and Feminism caused him to create his own writing enterprise entitled ‘Creative Callum’. From this, he was able to start writing critics and reviews on dance performance. Developing his skills in creative writing has always been a passion of Callum’s, engaging in novels and poems in his spare time, Callum was able to combine both his passions; Writing and Dance.

 

Callum’s previous experience within performance has enabled him to have an embodied knowledge of dance performance. From working with Jasmin Vardimon and attending performance workshops such as Hofesh Schecter, Matthew Bourne & James Wilton, Callum has been able to write about performance with a personified understanding.

 

Callum aspires to write dance academia books after graduating from University and intends to embark on further education.
